Springing Forward into Family Nature Night at Thunder Valley

Family Nature Night at Thunder Valley began as families lined up to be welcomed by Colorado Parks and Wildlife Staff.

While students were trying out archery in the gym, families hopped around to the different partner activities.

Bird Conservancy provided students with binoculars so they could learn how to identify different birds that are seen in Colorado. History Colorado always thrills with Colorado history bingo. Taking a photo with the Colorado flag is a must!

Checking out the invertebrates from the Butterfly Pavilion is always fun! What would we do without bugs to pollinate plants? Botanic Gardens brought a garden of plants to show the students and families. Trying to identify plants is hard until you learn about them.

Students could hardly contain themselves at the outdoor prize raffle.

The Sun staying up later means that backyard bass can be outside. We love Spring!

Thanks to the Thunder Valley staff and CPW Staff and Volunteers who helped make this a spectacular event!
