SOLE Family Nature Nights are Back!
"I loved this event! It was so fun! I loved it!" Samuels Elementary Family Nature Night Participant
This fall we brought back the SOLE Family Nature Nights, and we had quite the success! Some of these schools included one of our Denver Metro schools, Samuels Elementary, and in the southeast Beulah Heights Elementary. Each event had a total attendance of over 80 participants!
In the past, Family Nature Nights have mostly been inside schools. This year, Samuels Elementary and Beulah Heights Elementary had their Family Nature Night outside for the safety of the families, partners, volunteers and staff.
The 3rd, 4th and 5th grade students and their families had the opportunity to learn new outdoor skills or were able to enhance their outdoor skills. These skills included things like archery and fishing!

As part of the SOLE Family Nature Night tradition, we had our exhilarating raffle! Children were able to win a variety of gifts to encourage them to connect with the outdoors such as a sleeping bag, binoculars with nature guide, fishing pole with kit and more! This year, one of our partners, The Denver Botanic Gardens, brought 4 free passes to the Denver Botanic Gardens as a raffle prize.

Thank you to all the SOLE school's staff, partners, volunteers and Colorado Parks and Wildlife staff that made these events possible. We could not have done it without you! THANK YOU!
