Packed House at Edison's Family Nature Night
Bees, bass and dino's, oh my!
The SOLE team had a BLAST at Edison Elementary's Family Nature Night last Thursday. We estimated about 65 kids and 44 adults (109 total) attended the event. Our incredible partners brought along some fun, interactive, kid-friendly activities.
One passionate parent offered their support by running a booth to advocate bee conservation and education. Colorado Native Bee is a Denver-based organization dedicated to spreading awareness of Colorado's native bee populations. We love seeing our SOLE families getting passionate about wildlife and we appreciate you taking the time to support SOLE!
A special "thank you" goes out to Dinosaur Ridge, Barr Lake State Park, History Colorado, Bird Conservancy of the Rockies, Rocky Mountain Arsenal Wildlife Refuge, and Mountain Side Gear Rental for being part of this Family Nature Night. We couldn't have done it without you!
At around 6pm, students and parents trickled into the auditorium to hear the raffle prize winners! Congratulations to all of our families that took home an outdoor-friendly prize!
As always, we could not have a successful Family Nature Night without the participation and passion of our SOLE students and teachers. Thank YOU for coming out to your Family Nature Night and exploring all the amazing things the outdoors has to offer!
