Lawrence Family Nature Night
The students of Lawrence Elementary had a blast at their Family Nature Night! About 76 kids and 37 adults (113 total) attended the event.
Our partners brought amazing activities, and even some live education tools for this epic night!
Majestic View Nature Center, along with Jeffco Open Space, brought 3 snakes to show, including the native Bull Snake featured above. Some students loved the idea of learning and touching these magnificent reptiles...while some parents watched from a safe distance.
Denver Botanic Gardens provided lovely wildflower seeds for families to plant in Spring.
Dinosaur Ridge brought several gems and minerals, along with microscopes so families can learn the difference between the two.
Of course, kids gathered around Mountain Side Gear Rental for s'mores! This Golden-based partner is always a big hit at Family Nature Night.
SOLE also wants to thank the Butterfly Pavilion, History Colorado, and A&H Adventures for coming to Family Nature Night and providing wonderful activities! We could not do this without our amazing partners.
At 6pm, everyone gathered into the cafeteria for the raffle! Congratulations to all our prize winners!
