Secrest Family Nature Night
What an amazing night of outdoor family fun! Secrest Elementary turned it out for their Family Nature Night. Around 87 kids and 60 adults (147 total) attended the event. A pizza dinner was enjoyed in the cafeteria while other activities were spread throughout the halls.
Science Fair projects were on display in the library for those interested in learning more about what Secrest students are working on! The projects were done by students in multiple grades. SOLE was super impressed by all the work done for the science fair! Way to go, Secrest!
A TON of SOLE partners joined in on the festivities. A&H Adventures provided archery for the night.
Jeffco Open Space 'twisted' things up when they brought a wildlife version of the classic game "Twister". What a clever idea!
Mountain Side Gear Rental is always a popular booth at Family Nature Night. Who can say no to s'mores?!
We also want to give a HUGE shout out to Majestic View Nature Center, History Colorado, Wild Within Reach, US Forest Service, the Butterfly Pavilion, Denver Botanic Gardens and the Bird Conservancy for supporting SOLE at Secrest's Family Nature Night. We could not have had such an awesome event without you!
At 6pm, families gathered into the cafeteria for the raffle. Congratulations to all of the winners!
Thank you Secrest staff and families for helping SOLE put on such a fun event! We can't wait to come back next year!
