About 175 students and their families joined us for a special Family Nature Night at Thunder Valley K-8! The energy in the building was palpable, with the students bouncing around from table to table, learning about each of the seven amazing partner organizations that were present.

We had friends present from A&H Adventures, Butterfly Pavilion, Bird Conservancy of the Rockies, History Colorado, Poudre Learning Center, Denver Botanic Gardens, and Barr Lake State Park.

The students got to engage in a number of fun activities, including archery, investigating insects, learning about the many birds of prey found throughout Colorado, and interacting with a docile bull snake! Lucky kiddos!
