After weeks of testing, these students were able to blow off some steam with the SOLE team and our amazing partners. About 71 kids and 40 adults (111 total) attended Sierra Grande's Family Nature Night! What a great turnout!

Our friends at the Rio Grande Watershed Conservation and Education Initiative brought macro invertebrates for students to study and identify. Macro invertebrates tells us a lot about whether or not a water system is healthy. Thanks for bringing such a cool activity!

Colorado State Forest Service explained the importance of native plants while making stamp art! Thanks for hanging with us, Forest Service!

At 6pm, families gathered into the cafeteria for the raffle giveaway. Congratulations to our winners!

Thanks to everyone who helped out for this event! Shout out to Conrad Albert, a local District Wildlife Manager, who took time out of his busy schedule to have some fun with us!

We can't wait to come back to Sierra Grande next year!
